What repellents actually work for deterring an unwanted cat on my property?

The neighbors cats came in threw our locked cat door while we were away and went pee in our house and in my daughters room more specifically. I want to deter them because now the freaks are meowing day and night at our doors. I feel like I'm living in Pet Cemetary. I am completely grossed out and mad as hell. The door was put in by the tenant before us and the landlord never filled in the hole, however we did so asap after this happen, but they still won't go away. I need a spray that works not a gimmick, please help!!!!!
