If someone asked you to be a co-signer for a student loan, how would you feel? What would you think?

My little brother asked me to co-sign for him. I said yes, except the organization rejected my credit. He went to my cousin. Now, 6 months later, I'm going back to school again, and I need a co-signer now for a student loan. If I can't count on my parents, I'd have to ask other people. It seems like a hle to ask other people, wouldn't you agree?
