Do you think the Rational Response Squad has harmed atheism by reinforcing negative cliches/stereotypes?

One of the turning points for them was when Kelly ( I believe that's her name) got clobbered by Matt Slick during a radio debate. She walked into the debate thinking he was another Kirk Cameron and got embarred by a fellow who knew far more about her worldview than she did. I actually felt bad for her to tell you the truth.
