Why doesn't Israel have European-style parade units?

I am measuring in World Military History and Traditions, and I am writing a paper on the costums of the IDF. Something that I found strange is that Israel, which evidently has the largest amount of immigrants of European origin in the Middle East and is very culturally influenced by European traditions and values, does not have any kind of ceremonial military units while neighboring Arab countries such as Syria and Jorden do have European style ceremonial uniforms despite not having European origins in culture or military traditions. Any ideas?
