Soo..did he ask me out or what?

ok so there is this new guy at school he has prolly been there for abt 3 weeks and he is a mexican...one of hos friends..lets call him jason walked by my table at lunch and asked me to go out with him. i didnt want to say yes or no because i didnt no if he ment it or wat...well someone else told him i said yes someone else told him i said no....should i have my bestfriend ask him if he really did want to ask me out tomorrow? they r in the same homeroom...what should i do?
