What kind of bedding should I use for my guinea pig c&c cage?

currently i'm using puppy pads and fleece over it but they're too stressful to maintain. I don't want to use aspen shavings or carefresh since it gets kicked around everywhere in my room. so what's the easiest bedding for my 2x3 c&c cage,
