What do i do about the love of my life?

Theres a girl who used to lke me and i didnt realize it and then she didnt like me for a whle and ive fallen head ver heels for her. Whenever i try to talk to her she is urude to me. I gave her a beautifu gift for her. People have told me to leave it be b/c i fall in love very easily and that this is ping. Ive been very pushy so maybe i should. please help me
