How do I repel bees from my porch/house?

Bees have been swarming around me and my porch everytime I go out to smoke. (I don't need anyone to tell me to quit smoking) I have searched my entire porch (above and underneath), all around my house and in the tree in my yard. I can't find any evidence of a beehive of any sort. What can I do to repel or deter these bees from my porch and surrounding areas?
