How do I console my girlfriend?

You putting your hands on her made things worse. You have to understand that someone important in her life has ped. Why you put your hands on her was stupid & wrong. Shes depressed and grieving. You were completely out-of-hand. Tell your girlfriend to get out of the house and do something, tell her to go see a friend or something. It might help, but you made this whole situation worse bu putting your hands on her.
